Frequently Asked Questions About KXCI Membership and Contributions How do I contact the Membership Office? If you have any questions about your membership, please call our Membership office at 520.623.1000 x13 or CLICK HERE to send a message and we will take care of your request as soon as possible. Is my gift to KXCI tax-deductible? Yes, your gift to KXCI is fully tax-deductible, minus the fair market value of any Thank You Gifts requested.  For gifts of $75 or more we will send you a receipt for your contribution that can be saved for tax purposes. What are the benefits of KXCI membership? When you join KXCI or renew your membership, your tax-deductible membership dollars directly support the eclectic and diverse array of quality music and public affairs programming you have come to expect from KXCI.  Your support helps KXCI to nourish minds and broaden horizons through informative, non-commercial programming. In addition to demonstrating your desire to keep non-commercial radio strong, Basic Membership of $35 entitles you to member voting rights, a membership card for concert discounts and our member newsletter, Segue. Many people take the opportunity to support KXCI at the $91.30 level - our Frequency Level - where, in addition to the above, you also receive two thank-you gifts (t-shirt, CD, coffee mug, etc.) and the KXCI MemberCard, good for 2-for-1 dining at more than 80 area restaurants. Other levels exist as well.  We encourage you to check out all of our options by clicking PLEDGE NOW. What are the payment options for my pledge to KXCI? We have many options available and are committed to working with you to come up with the best plan for your budget. Pay in full - Debit or Credit Cards accepted (Visa or Mastercard) in person, by phone, or online. Installment Plan - 4 or 10 (monthly) payments Installment payments can be automatically deducted from your debit or credit card (on or after the 15th of the month) or you may choose to receive an installment pack with a schedule and instructions for paying by check or money order. Cash, checks, money orders and debit/credit card payment is always accepted in person at the station during regular business hours.  Be sure to ask for a staff member to process your payment. What are the Thank You Gifts I may be entitled to select? KXCI's standard premium items include a wide selection of t-shirt designs from your favorite KXCI programs, an eclectic selection of CDs including KXCI's Live From Studio 2A and Growing Native compilations, the KXCI MemberCard, and KXCI coffee mugs or water bottles.  Often there are also special premium items specific to individual programs. Where can I pick up my Thank You Gifts? The full selection of premiums are located in the Membership Office at the KXCI Studios - 220 South 4th Avenue (1.5 blocks south of Broadway).  Come visit our century-old building in Armory Park Historic District... we'd be happy to give you a tour!  If you need more detailed directions, please call 520.623.1000.  If you live outside of Tucson please contact the Membership Office at extension 13 to discuss options for shipping your premium items . When does my KXCI membership expire? Will KXCI sell my name and address? At KXCI, we take your privacy very seriously.  We DO NOT sell any of your personal information to any third-parties.  Of course, you are also welcome to request that your membership be considered "anonymous."  For more information, please contact the Membership office by callling 520.623.1000 x13 or CLICK HERE to send a message. What are "Matching Pledges"? KXCI is very fortunate to have many local Business Underwriters that donate extra matching pledges during our on-air pledge drives.  If you call 520.623.1000 during one of the matching pledge times, that Business Underwriter will donate an extra amount to KXCI.  This amount is not added on to your individual pledge amount - it is added on to the total of the drive - and does not increase your premium level. What is "New Member Monday"? Prior to the on-air membership drive KXCI's current members donate an additional gift to be used as a catalyst for new members to join, or for former members that have lapsed memberships to join KXCI again.  On the second Monday of the drive "New Member Monday" offers the opportunity to double your premium levels when you become a new member of KXCI. My employer participates in the Employee Matching Gift Program.  What should I do? You may be able to double your donation to KXCI.  As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, KXCI is eligible for many Corporate Matching Gifts programs.  CLICK HERE for a directory of more than 100 companies that have matching gift programs.
